Syntax 80

I need your input on this one as I’ve not had much luck recently with tracking down any more contacts. I guess if I could get everybody whom I’ve already been in touch with to give up the information they have on others, then in total we’re probably close to 25% of our year group.

However, I am fast wearying of constantly chasing some folks and as nobody has stepped up and offered to assist this has become a one man show. So, here are the options (as I see them):

1. Make a decision now based on what I/we know already? Click here for Option 1
2. Delay the decision until after the summer holidays – say beginning of October which allows me to get my boy off to University? Click here for Option 2
3. Postpone a decision until early next year and use the rest of this to try and track down as many as we can? Click here for Option 3

What I’d really like is for all of you to contact me and let me know your preference and whether your suggestion is to fight on or drop it. Personally I have to say it’d be a shame if having come this far we decide not to carry on with this but I understand deadlines and I understand needing to give people time to organise and to save.

It’s going to be a one off thing – I don’t plan on doing it again but I for one really want to know what’s happened with everyone since those days. Some updates for June …

It would seem that both Andrew Ransom and Nick Edward (no trailing s I’ve been reminded) have recently logged in to the Alumni site so I’ve sent the both an eMail and will hopefully get a reply sometime.

Additionally Andrew Curley has resurfaced in conversation with Michael Lam so I have also sent him an eMail and await a reply.

Finally for now, Paula Gray from the Mount confirms that Adrian Fazakerley is indeed running a pub in Barlborough – so the details I have are right, I just need to find time to phone him. At least we can guarantee a barman for the reunion ….

If ANY of you have any information then please do let me know as it’s getting very close to the time where I think we need to make a decision on whether or not this is a viable proposition – especially for you guys whom live in Canada, America, Hong Kong and Australia …..
