Those of you that also attended Barlborough will undoubtedly remember Charlie along with Fr McCardle, Fr Birch and Fr Watson.

I just learnt today that Fr Charles, the last in the Higham line I believe (all brothers became SJ’s) has passed away. His funeral took place last Friday.

In keeping with learning something new every day, I today discovered that he was also an ex pupil of MSM, having left in 1943.
