I’ve just been sent this. I’m told Richard Thompson is going to be there for any who can make it. For my part I’m still planning on next year but will consider this one as well.

Full details of the programme of events over the weekend will be sent with confirmation of your booking and the details will also be available on the website. An outline of the expected programme is  below. Please feel free to partake in all or part of the weekend.

    Friday 23rd October
Individual Reunions and private parties for those who wish to make a full weekend. Robert Catterall and others will be having supper at the Chinese Restaurant in Renishaw – let me know if you would like to join us.

    Saturday 24th October
12.00-2.00pm  The bar will be open and light lunch will be available in the Pavilion at the college.
    2.00pm  Trip to Barlborough Hall.
4.00pm   Tea and coffee available at the college.
    6.30pm    Reception.
    7.30pm   Centenary Dinner.
    Midnight  Carriages.

    Sunday 25th October
8.30-9.30am Breakfast available at the college.
10.00am Mass in the Memorial Chapel.
    11.00am Coffee.
11.30am Annual General Meeting of the Mount Association (non members are welcome as observers).
12.30pm The bar will be open and light refreshments in the Pavilion.

All Old Mountaineers and friends of the Mount including their guests/partners are invited to attend the dinner.  The dress is black tie or lounge suits and table wines are included in the price of the ticket.

It is unlikely that ensuite accommodation will be available at the college and I am suggesting that we consider booking hotel accommodation in the area. The preferred hotel is the Ibis just off junction 30 of the M1. Rooms may be booked at £30-£45 online or by telephone (01246 813222). I recommend an early booking as we are expecting large numbers at the reunion this year. We are hoping to arrange transport particularly to and from the dinner and for the Barlborough visit. There may be a few rooms at the college with communal facilities and if you wish me to enquire on your behalf please give me a ring.

The booking form is on the Alumni site. The agenda for the meeting and minutes of the last AGM will be available on our website shortly. Please contact me if you wish to receive a printed copy..

Please complete the booking form and return it with your cheque made payable to the Mount Association to me as soon as possible and no later than 19th October 2009 and I will confirm the final details. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me (details above).

I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at the reunion weekend.

    Robert Catterall (OM’47)
    Chairman/Honorary Secretary
