What’s this all about?
It’s about bringing together those that did their O Levels in 1980 at Mount St Mary’s College, nr. Sheffield.
Why the name SpiltWine?
It’s a spare URL that I had already registered and was now doing nothing. The short history is that it is the name of a drama group I co-led for 17yrs and it ceased to be a year or so back. So now it’s available for parties, receptions and weddings.
What’s with the name Syntax 1980?
In our school, Mount St Mary’s College (see links at side), each school year also had a name. The name for the O Level year, also known as the 5th form was Syntax.
Who’s behind the reunion?
Two people – Richard Thompson and Stuart Dyckhoff.

Does the registration system work?
Yes. I should have changed this entry a while back but had forgotten it. Once I’d moved to the new host the automated registration now works. Feel free to sign up and make comments to any of the posts. If the need is there I will even add a forum for chat.
Aren’t you worried your eMail address will get spammed?
No. I’m using a wordpress plugin that automatically obfuscates an eMail such that a spambot can’t read it. However, it remains readable to the human eye and it also remains fully clickable such that it will automatically open up a new eMail pre-addressed for you.
